Courses

Most battery know-how isn't taught in a classroom. It comes from building cells and seeing them fail. Our courses are taught by the engineers and technicians who run our pilot line and test labs every day. The BIC is an independent nonprofit, so the content is vendor-neutral, product-agnostic and grounded in real data.

Energy Storage Short Course (ESSC)

A multi-day, in-person course in Newberry. You get a systems-level view of battery technology, from cell fundamentals to pack design and safety. It's built for engineers, program and product managers, founders, safety professionals and business leaders.
