Dr. Alyssa Stavola

Director of Business Development

Dr. Alyssa Stavola is Director of Business Development at the Battery Innovation Center, an independent center for cell fabrication, development, and testing that helps promising battery technologies cross from lab result to manufacturable cell. She is a chemical engineer by training and a cathode scientist by trade, with R&D roles spanning lithium-ion and solid-state chemistries, including cathode direct recycling at 24M Technologies. She previously co-founded a materials company so she understands the challenges between concept, prototype, and manufacturable product. She writes Battery Burn Book, a free newsletter covering the electrochemistry that most bachelor's degrees leave out.
